The death of Julien LeBlanc occurred at his home here recently after a short illness at the age of 86.

Mr LeBlanc leaves to mourn his widow (née Jeanne LeBlanc), two sons, Georges and Auguste LeBlanc, and nine daughters, Mrs Dumoulin, Mrs G. Garon in the United States, Mrs S. Gaudet, Dorchester, Mrs E. Gould, Mrs A. LeBlanc, Mrs P. LeBlanc and Mrs A. Gautreau of Memramcook and Misses Emma and Marguerite LeBlanc at home.

The funeral took place Saturday morning in St Thomas Church, St Joseph at nine o’clock with a high mass of requiem celebrated by Father Eug. Daoust, c.s.c., pastor of the parish, assisted by Father Paul Theriault, c.s.c., as deacon and Father W. Gendreau, c.s.c., as sub-deacon,

The pallbearers were Paul LeBlanc, Alvérie LeBlanc, Hervé Gautreau, Sébastien Gaudet, Ephrem Gould and Léo Landry.
